Posts:
Animal Breeding
Trainee (M Tech/ MSc. in Genetics/ Biostatistics/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology)
The incumbent should be M Tech/ MSc. in Genetics/ Biostatistics/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology and have at least 2 year experience of research preferably in whole genome sequencing and genome assembly which should be evident by research publication in peer reviewed journals. Preference would be given to candidates who is involved in submission of eukaryotic genome assembly to public resources/candidate with experience of research in whole genome sequencing and genome assembly .

Age limit for the traineeships position is 27 Years (as on 01 November 2018)
Centre for Analysis and Learning in Livestock and Food (CALF)
Technician - I (Reserved for SC candidate)
The incumbent should be Bachelor of Science (Any Chemistry discipline / Food Science) with minimum 2 years experience in analytical work.

Candidates above 28 years of age as on 01 November 2018 need not apply
Scientist -I (Honey Testing Laboratory)
The incumbent should be MSc/M Tech (Any branch of Chemistry/ Food Science / Biotechnology) with minimum 3 years of experience in authenticity, chemical analysis and contaminant analysis of honey or other agricultural commodities. or PhD in any of the above disciplines with minimum 2 years of experience in Honey testing. The candidate with work on EA-IRMS and LC-IRMS in doctorate program with 2 publications in the journal of repute (from Ph.D work), may be preferred.Candidates with prior work experience in honey would be preferred.
Candidates above 30 years of age as on 01 December 2018 need not apply
Scientist-I (QA-Laboratory)
The incumbent should be MSc/M Tech (Any branch of Chemistry/ Microbiology (Dairy, Food or General) /Biotechnology/ Food Science) with at least 3 years of experience in the QA activities of a food laboratory. Or PhD in any of the above disciplines with minimum 2 years of experience in the QA activities of a food laboratory. Candidates with prior work experience in accredited laboratory as per ISO-17043 would be preferred.

Candidates above 30 years of age as on 01 December 2018 need not apply
